I was able to follow American Idol’s Season 11 and I’m proud to say that one of the best singers they have now is half-Filipina. She’s one of the 9 remaining contestant in one of the longest running reality singing competition. Yesterday, the song choice theme is to pick a song by one of their personal Idols. Jessica Sanchez had a slow rendition of Beyonce’s “Sweet Dreams”, and that was so good!
Although she didn’t get a standing ovation from the three judges, all of their comments are positive. Randy Jackson even called Jessica “one of the best singers he’s heard” in years.

It’s just sad that Heejun, the Korean ballad singer, was voted out and was not saved by the judges. I still believe he’s a great singer and a funny man.
